Angus Scott

A fourth generation cattle farmer & cropper, Angus was raised on his family’s farm in Cootamundra NSW, and has been intrigued by the idea of creating something from nature through a process that merged tradition with provocative ingenuity ever since. After getting an advanced diploma in farm management from the University Of Sydney and playing professional rugby for over a decade, he’s since returned to his farming roots and now leads the Sustainable Agriculture and Winegrowing efforts at the Estate. In addition to co-founding Drury Lane Estate, Angus is also the principal of Drury Lane Contracting, A vineyard maintenance and residential building firm servicing the Hunter Valley.

Alexandra Scott (Drury)

CO-FOUNDER & General manager

An accomplished executive with a 20 year track record of success, Alexandra has worked with some of the largest enterprise IT brands in the world building great teams, shipping blockbuster products, and growing their businesses. Alexandra’s ability to work across multiple mediums and disciplines has prepared her to bring a well balanced set of experiences and perspectives to the Drury Lane brand. Alexandra is a passionate storyteller, creative thinker, designer, facilitator and teacher, setting the overall company culture and vision, and inspiring Drury Lane Estate’s most challenging and disruptive projects. While owning a winery & farm is a departure from her city-girl roots, she has embraced the Hunter Valley way of life.

Richard Done

Winemaker
Richard is the Head Winemaker at Bimbadgen Hunter Valley, whilst also Owner/Winemaker at John Wallace Wines. His own family label. Richard has been making wine in the Hunter Valley for almost 20 years, first with Scarborough Wines and then Thomas Wines before taking up his current role. Richard has a Masters in Wine Science and Viticulture and Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management. He was the recipient of the Alisdair Sutherland scholarship in 2015 for an up and coming wine show judge. Richard has continued success and taking Bimbadgen to the next level in terms of quality wines and picked up many awards along the way at wine shows across the country. He believes in sustainability, nurturing the vine to bottle process and has a style of retaining freshness and detail in his wines.
